THE WOODLANDS, TX – The 37th Annual Economic Outlook Conference is coming up this next week on Friday, February 24 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. This annual event, hosted by The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, has been a smash success year after year as it brings in top-tier experts in business, economics, real estate, and government to provide eager attendees with the state of the business climate in The Woodlands, the Township’s successes and goals, and what the future holds for the area’s economic development.

“We rely on our sponsors to host successful events”

Speakers and panelists for this year’s conference include Congressman Dan Crenshaw with a national economic update; Gil Staley, Chief Executive Officer at The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership, with a community update; Bill Ackman, investor and CEO of Pershing Square Capital Management; Bob Charlet, market president and publisher of the Houston Business Journal, author Joel Kotkin; and a panel moderated by Charles Blain, president of Urban Reform Institute.

Additionally, the EOC also offers a business expo that provides sponsors and attendees the opportunity to engage in one-on-one conversations. The positive impact of these businesses and entities providing sponsorships on the conference is not lost on Chamber president and CEO JJ Hollie.

“As a volunteer-based organization, we rely on sponsorships for events such as these,” he said. “Without our generous sponsors, we wouldn’t be able to provide the sort of high-quality events – such as our Economic Outlook Conference – that are an integral part of The Woodlands.”

Sponsors for this year’s EOC include Kean Miller, The Howard Hughes Corporation, Cypressbrook Company, The Woodlands Township, Consolidated Communications, Wright Business Technologies, Entergy, Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center, The Strong Firm, Woodforest National Bank, Stibbs & Co., Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, Richmond Realty Group, The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership, Woodlands Christian Academy, The John Cooper School, Woodlands Online, and many others.

Tickets are still available at www.eocthewoodlands.com.
