HS Boys Soccer: The Woodlands Area Round Bound after Defeating Westfield

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Highlanders hosted the Westfield Mustangs in the Bi-District round of the UIL Playoffs on Friday night. This was part of a double header with College Park and Aldine playing right after.

In the first half The Woodlands would immediately set the pace by attacking the ball and attacking the net. The Westfield goalie had his hands full with the shots on goal from The Woodlands midfielders and forwards.

Rodrigo Hernandez, Aaron Keating scored all the goals for the Highlanders in the first half. Hernandez would get the hattrick and give The Woodlands a quick 4-0 lead heading into halftime.

In the second half, The Woodlands would slow down a little but still manage to keep their composure and attack the goal. Patryk Jankowski and Aaron Keating would find the back of the net for The Woodlands before the game was over.

The Woodlands will move on to the Area round with a 6-0 win over Westfield.
