Conroe ISD sponsoring free summer meals for children

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Conroe Independent School District will be sponsoring a summer feeding program for children in our community in an effort to reduce the number of children that go hungry during the summer months.

CISD personnel will be feeding children, ages 18 and under, free breakfast and lunch meals on certain dates between June 5 and July 10, excluding weekends and holidays, which are Monday, June 19, 2023, and Tuesday, July 4, 2023.

Here are the details of the free summer meal program:

• Hope Elementary – Monday - Friday, June 5 - June 30 – Breakfast 7:15 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. / Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Houser Elementary – Monday - Friday, June 5 - June 30 – Breakfast 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. / Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 12:40 p.m.
• Lamar Elementary – Monday - Friday, June 5 - June 30 – Breakfast 7:15 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. / Lunch 10:15 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
• Patterson Elementary – Monday - Friday, June 5 - June 30 – Breakfast 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. / Lunch 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Rice Elementary – Monday - Friday, June 5 - June 30 – Breakfast 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. / Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Bozman Intermediate – Monday - Friday, June 5 - June 29 – Breakfast 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. / Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Grangerland Intermediate – Monday - Friday, June 5 - June 29 – Breakfast 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. / Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Vogel Intermediate – Monday - Friday, June 5 - June 29 – Breakfast 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. / Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Wilkerson Intermediate – Monday - Friday, June 5 - June 29 – Breakfast 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. / Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Irons Junior High – Monday - Friday, June 5 - June 29 – Breakfast 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. / Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Stockton Junior High – Monday - Friday, June 5 - June 29 – Breakfast 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. / Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• The Woodlands High School – Monday - Friday, June 5 - July 10 – Breakfast 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. / Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

All children 18 years old and under may visit any of the above-listed campuses for a free summer meal. There is no registration and no identification is required. Please note that a child must show up in person to receive a meal.
