Constable Gable's CID detectives & deputies make arrest against a predator on 8/8/2023.

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On Tuesday, August 8th, 2023, Constable Ryan Gable's Criminal Investigations Division (CID) conducted an investigation on Carlos Jose Guerrero, of Houston, for online solicitation of a minor. Guerrero began explicitly chatting with a juvenile whom was under 14 years of age. Guerrero was actively soliciting sexual contact from the minor via electronic communication. Guerrero solicited a meeting and traveled to The Woodlands in an attempt to meet the juvenile victim. Constable Gable's Detectives and Deputies successfully apprehended Guerrero during this encounter.

At this time Deputies arrested Guerrero, it was found that he had an active felony warrant out of Harris County for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child < 14 years of age. Guerrero was charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor with intent to engage in sexual contact, sexual intercourse, or deviate sexual intercourse < 14 years of age, 2nd Degree felony, as well as the outstanding Harris County warrant. Guerrero is currently in the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office jail with a $100,000 bond.
