Wine and Food Week’s Platinum Wine Vault Luxury Tasting brought the best of food and drink

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Food & Vine Time Productions’ gourmet annual Wine & Food Week event, The Platinum Wine Vault Luxury Tasting, brought the finest in high-end wines and upscale cuisine at Bayway Cadillac of The Woodlands.

Countless hundreds of bottles were on display and ready to be drained, sorted by event-themed categories such as ‘I Am Blushing Rosé,’ ‘I’m Delicate,’ ‘Love My Silky Cabs,’ and ‘How Sweet It Is,’ and paired with delectable dishes from Alchemy Bake Lab, Back Table, Goya, H-E-B, Phat Eatery, Sorriso, State Fare, TRIS, and The Woodlands Country Club.

“The wines are pretty amazing. It’s like a playground,” said Constance McDerby, founder of Wine and Food Week, in an exclusive interview with Woodlands Online. “The most avid collectors don’t typically have so many classy bottles of high end wines open at any given time. High end wines. The event continues to be fascinating because the wines change and grow every year.”

McDerby gave special kudos to host Bayway Cadillac, which is the official automotive partner of Wine and Food Week.

“Bayway have been amazing partners,” she said. “They support the community and the charities that we support; they’re great community stewards.”

Coming up soon and next on Wine and Food Week’s calendar is the popular H-E-B Wine Walk in Market Street, coming the first Thursday in October, with approximately 150 exhibitors and thousands of attendees.

“This one is coming soon,” said McDerby. “We completely sold out last year, and a lot of people were sad to be turned away, so be sure to get your tickets now.”
