THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The 24th annual YMCA Dragon Boat Race and Team Challenge came to an end today with teams from around The Woodlands competing against each other at North Shore park. Teams this weekend contributed and rowed for a cause so that the YMCA help anyone and not turn anybody away.
Activities included an obstical course, competitive dodge ball, and of course the long standing Dragon Boat race where teams raced up and down a stretch of Lake Woodlands. Sunday was the final day of the competiton and some huge teams filled the park.
Roxanne Davis, Event Coordinator, was excited about the turn out over the few days of the competiton and looks forward to keeping the tradition for years to come.
