Richmond Realty Group is selected to be one of the exclusive Founders brokers for The Ritz-Carlton Residences in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX – When Zach Richmond formed Richmond Realty Group in 2016, his vision was to grow with The Woodlands, the township where he was born and raised. Richmond recently announced the most recent feather in his agency’s hat: Richmond Realty Group was selected to be one of the exclusive Founders brokers to represent The Ritz-Carlton Residences coming to The Woodlands.

Richmond learned of the honor at the beginning of the year, but was sworn to secrecy until the official announcement could be made last week. “After a silence of six months, I can finally tell y’all about the new Luxury condominium project in partnership with Howard Hughes Holdings Inc., RAMSA | Robert A.M. Stern Architects, and Douglas Elliman,” he said in a statement. Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is the exclusive listing agent for all homes at the project.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences isn’t an hotel, but instead a 111-unit, Texas limestone, luxury highrise condominium property that will overlook Lake Woodlands on eight acres. The gated community will include a private dock, pickleball courts, a resort-style pool overlooking Lake Woodlands, a community herb garden, and a reservation-only, Michelin Star rated quality restaurant from Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

“This will be the Sistine Chapel of The Woodlands,” said Richmond.

In an exclusive interview with Woodlands Online, Richmond discussed this latest honor bestowed on his company, his love of the community, and the future of the project and the Group.

“It’s amazing and exciting that we have a property of this caliber being built here in The Woodlands,” he said. “That Ritz-Carlton would deem us as a site to grow and enhance their brand speaks volumes of our Township; usually a luxury residence property like this is reserved for a major destination, world-renowned city. We’ve come a long way in fifty years.”

Richmond informed Woodlands Online that in the months leading up to the announcement, his Group had been active in organizing several preview groups. “We provided the planners with lots of information, ensuring that the project will be what the community wants.”

While details couldn’t be revealed due to the stringent timeline of the project between Howard Hughes Holdings, Inc. and consulting group Douglas Elliman, Richmond informed Woodlands Online of his impressions of what he’s seen and heard so far.

“This property has been so well thought-out, researched, and planned,” he said. “Stern provided such amazing architecture, and the end result will be a comforting, classical feel with a definite Texas twang.”

A particular point of pride with Richmond is that – of the exclusive Founders brokers that have been selected for this project – his Group is by far the ‘youngest.’

“We have the least amount of years in business of the group; we’ve been operating for less than 10 years and all the others have been doing business for 15, 20, or more years,” he said. “We’ve been identified as a good steward for the creators and investors of this project.”

Richmond also points to the fact that his Group has been voted the number one ‘Best of The Woodlands’ in the category of real estate for the past three years, and credits Woodlands Online for keeping the standards of winning such an award so high.

“When working hard and working together – you, me, all of us – anything can be accomplished,” he said.
