VARSITY GIRLS SOCCER

11/6 at Frassati • 6-0 W

Coach Fri Engel: We had an exciting start to the season with two wins in the first week of games. Our midfielders were contributing significantly, both offensively and defensively. Pia Quintana scored five of our nine goals, Elly Principi contributed two goals, Maddie Burchfiel and Vika Khoneneva both scored one. Our backline around Monet Sires and Haley Lien was impressive, defending everything that came their way. Many of our freshmen contributed significant minutes in the games, with Eva Blanchard and Ella Chisholm standing out with excellent performances. We continue next week with two games. Monday we will play Emery/Weiner and on Wednesday we have our second home game against The Woodlands Christian Academy.
