The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services announces 2024 Project 365 - Set it, Don’t Forget It

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services Department has launched Project 365 for 2024 -Set it, Don’t Forget It. Project 365 is an initiative that strives to redefine safety and security in our daily lives, with a focus on three crucial aspects – alarms for homes, cars and fire safety. This year, Project 365 introduces a set-it-and-don’t-forget-it approach to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to protect themselves and their properties, helping to create a stronger and more resilient community.

Residents being informed about the proper functioning of their security alarms and fire alarms, understanding how these alarms connect to public safety systems, and being mindful of avoiding false alarms are crucial aspects of maintaining a secure environment. Even the simple act of regularly checking and maintaining smoke alarm batteries is important and contributes to overall safety.

All residents are encouraged to participate in this year's Project 365 - Set It; Don't Forget It and take advantage of the opportunity to enhance their safety through these essential measures and valuable information.
