Notification of Public Comment On Potential Fare Increase For The Woodlands Express

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township announces the beginning of a public comment period for an increase of the commuter bus service fare. For the first time in eight years, the Woodlands Township is considering an increase to the round-trip fare for The Woodlands Express. One round-trip fare ticket is proposed to increase from $13.00 to $15.00 in June 2024. The Woodlands is soliciting feedback from the public on this proposed fare change.

The Woodlands Township will accept public comment at the Board of Directors meetings on March 21, 2024, at 6:00 PM CDT and March 27, 2024, at 6:00 PM CDT, as well as via e-mail to transitcompliance@thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov.

Public comments will be accepted through Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
