THE WOODLANDS, TX – Conroe Independent School District has announced several updates to its schedule due to the storms that have come through the area causing significant issues in The Woodlands area. Among the updates:
1. All CISD schools will be released at usual times today (Thursday); parents are encouraged to leave extra time when headed out to pick up their children from school. Additionally, they should be aware that bus services will most likely be delayed due to road conditions.
2. All extracurricular activities for today have been canceled, with one exception. As of the time of this writing, both Oak Ridge High School and Grand Oaks High School baseball playoff games are still on.
3. All classes have been canceled and all schools in Conroe ISD closed tomorrow. Parents should now make plans for their children to stay home on Friday.
4. As of the time of this writing, the proms for both Caney Creek High School and Conroe High School are proceeding as scheduled.
