THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Township will host three blood drives in June. Residents are invited to sign up to donate blood on June 18, 19 or 20, 2024. Various locations and times are available.

The need for blood donations is constant and critical. Giving blood is a simple, safe and impactful way to make a difference in the lives of those in need. Every donation can save up to three lives, making each donor a hero. Join us in making a lifesaving difference by donating blood. Click on the links below to choose your day and location. We encourage everyone to take a moment out of their day to donate blood. The process is quick and easy, and the benefits are immeasurable. By donating blood, you provide a vital resource to hospitals and patients who depend on it for survival.

How to Prepare for Your Blood Donation

  • Sleep well: Get a good night's sleep before donating.
  • Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water before your appointment.
  • Eat healthily: Have a nutritious meal and avoid high-fat foods.
  • Bring ID: Remember to bring at least one form of identification.

What to Expect After Donation

  • Keep your bandage on: Leave the bandage on for a few hours post-donation.
  • Stay hydrated: Continue to drink plenty of fluids.
  • Avoid strenuous activities: Refrain from heavy lifting or vigorous exercise for the rest of the day.
