The Celebration Kicks Off July 3
Start the festivities early with the beloved Star-Spangled Salute at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. This free patriotic concert by the renowned Houston Symphony features stirring American classics under the stars. Arrive early to enjoy the festive atmosphere as the community comes together to honor Independence Day in grand musical fashion. Concert begins at 8 p.m.
July 4 Highlights – Parades, Pools and Patriotic Fun
The celebration continues with the 49th Annual South County Fourth of July Parade, presented by Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. The parade starts at 9 a.m. and winds through The Woodlands Town Center and Market Street with fire engines, floats, military units and more. Pre-parade entertainment begins at 8 a.m., and this year’s theme, “Wings of Liberty: Celebrating the Bald Eagle,” honors America’s national bird as a symbol of strength and freedom.
Grand Marshal Dr. Ann K. Snyder, a longtime community leader and advocate, will lead the parade, with winners selected in 10 award categories by a panel of community judges.
Red, Hot and Pool
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., cool off at any Township pool during Red, Hot and Pool. Enjoy games, refreshments and themed fun from noon to 4 p.m. Daily pool fees apply, but admission is included with a season pass.
Red, Hot and Blue Festival and Fireworks Extravaganza
The Township will host festivities across multiple locations on July 4, beginning at 6 p.m. and culminating in the Fireworks Extravaganza at approximately 9:30 p.m. Four of the five locations will feature live music, family-friendly activities, and all five locations will feature fireworks:
