Entergy Texas to offer free tax preparation for customers in need

THE WOODLANDS, TX – On Tuesday, Feb. 17, Entergy Texas is hosting its Super Tax Day in partnership with non-profit BakerRipley to help low-income customers with free tax preparation and support. Qualified customers can walk-in and receive assistance from IRS-certified volunteers, who will provide guidance on tax credits and deductions they may be eligible for — including the federal Earned Income Tax Credit, a key program that helps millions of Americans improve financial stability.

In addition to tax filing services, attendees will have the opportunity to pick up free groceries at an on-site produce market provided by the Community Assistance Center.
