Interfaith of The Woodlands Welcomes Three New Members to Board of Directors
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Interfaith of The Woodlands recently met for its annual Board of Directors and Advisors Retreat where they welcomed three new members to its Board of Directors: Noemi Gonzalez, Michelle Little, and Jordan Watson. Each brings a wealth of leadership experience, community involvement, and a strong commitment to Interfaith’s mission of building a more loving and caring community through service.
Noemi Gonzalez serves as General Manager of Market Street – The Woodlands, bringing more than a decade of experience in property operations, marketing, and community engagement. Prior to her current role, she spent nearly ten years as Marketing Director, helping position Market Street as one of the nation’s top-performing outdoor retail destinations. A longtime resident of The Woodlands, Noemi is deeply invested in the community and currently serves on the board of The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, is a sustainer with the Junior League of The Woodlands, and volunteers with several local organizations.
Michelle Little is Vice President of Community Affairs and Corporate Giving at Waste Connections, where she has served for nearly 18 years. She oversees the company’s nonprofit foundation, WCN Cares, leading charitable partnerships and fundraising initiatives that support nonprofits across Montgomery County and beyond. Michelle recently completed her term as Board Chair for Inspiration Ranch and will step into the role of Board Chair for Angel Reach. She also serves on the boards of New Danville and The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce and has dedicated seven years to mentoring young girls as a Girl Scout troop leader.
Jordan Watson is the Director of Community and Government Affairs for Howard Hughes’ Texas Region. She also serves as co-lead for the Business Advocacy Council with The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce and sits on the board of the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce. Jordan’s career includes service as a policy advisor to Governor Greg Abbott, a management consultant with Deloitte, and legislative staff roles in both chambers of the Texas Legislature across six legislative sessions. A third-generation resident of The Woodlands, Jordan has a deep personal connection to Interfaith’s mission and a strong commitment to serving families in need.
Interfaith also extends its sincere appreciation to Todd Durkee, who recently concluded his service on the Board of Directors. His leadership and dedication have made a meaningful impact on the organization and our community.
In addition, longtime board member Mary Anne Whitney has transitioned to the Board of Advisors, where she will continue to provide guidance and institutional knowledge in support of Interfaith’s leadership and future growth.
“We are incredibly grateful for the service of our outgoing Board Members and excited to welcome Noemi, Jordan, and Michelle to our Board of Directors,” said Missy Herndon, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands. “Each of these new Board Members brings unique experience and a deep passion for service that will help strengthen our mission and expand our impact across the community.”
