Today, we see so many industries where personalized and excellent customer service has basically become extinct. It’s not often that you hear goodwill examples and stories anymore when it comes to the customer service industry. But, I believe in the power of employee recognition and empowerment; and as I business owner too I consciously could not take a moment of my time to recognize and empower the two employees (Matt and Nick), that Bradbury Brothers assigned to my plumbing issue.
I was immediately met by two extremely, knowledgeable, courteous young men that did not view me as another job. They engaged with me and asked me detailed and specific questions related to the plumbing issues I was experiencing. They did not rush me as I spoke, which is way to common and almost the norm these days - they actually treated me with respect, compassion and actively listened to me and my concerns. I then immediately knew I had chosen the right plumbing company.
All that being said, I also feel it is imperative that Bradbury Brothers Management & Leadership know the ultimate reason for this review and why everyone I know will know about Bradbury Brothers Plumbing. The ultimate reason I spent time writing this lengthy review is because what really stood out for me was Matt’s exceptional people skills. I also own a company in Customer Service, and had it not been for Matt’s rare gift to understand and relate to the people – he immediately recognized how distressed and anxious I was because of my plumbing issue. Not only did he talk to me through my nervousness and fears, reassuring me that he would do whatever it takes to fix the problem, but he also did not mind as I watched him and Nick work on the problem. He even talked me through why my plumbing problem was occurring and even took the time to show and explain to me step by step what he and Nick were doing to correct the issue.
I feel Employee/Customer Engagement & Trust are two of the most critical components when it comes to customer satisfaction, customer recommendations to others, customer loyalty, and ultimately financial sustainability and success of a company. So, please know that based on the service I received today from Matt and Nick you now have one more loyal and dedicated customer.
