UPDATED 3/15 9:00 a.m. - Here is a posting on the official Baker St. The Woodlands Facebook Page:
Dear valued patrons,

It is with heavy hearts that we share this news with you today. After 18 wonderful years on the Woodlands Waterway, we regret to inform you that 221 b Baker Street Pub is now permanently closed.

Since opening our doors in 2006, we have cherished every moment spent serving this vibrant community. From our humble beginnings as one of the earliest tenants on the Waterway to what would have been our 18th St. Patrick's Day celebration, each milestone has been a testament to the unwavering support and loyalty of our guests like you.

The decision to close was not one we made lightly. We understand the disappointment this may bring, especially as we reflect on the countless memories shared over live music, charitable events, and the camaraderie that defined our establishment.

To our incredible staff, we extend our deepest gratitude for your dedication and hard work over the years. While this marks the end of a chapter, we are committed to supporting our employees in their next steps, ensuring they have the resources to make the best decisions for themselves.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and want to express our heartfelt thanks for being a part of our journey. As we bid farewell, we hope that you will carry with you fond memories of the experiences we've shared together.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Warm regards,
Baker Street Pub Woodlands

A second restaurant in The Woodlands has permanantly shuttered its doors this week. A few days after the announcement that Local Pour was ceasing operations, employees and patrons of Baker St. Pub & Grill were shocked to find the doors locked and the following notice on Howard Hughes letterhead in the window:

NOTICE TO TENANT

Pursuant to Property Code [Section] 93.0002(f), this is to provide you with notice that 20 & 25 Waterway Holdings, LLC, the landlord, has changed the door locks to this suite. In order to obtain a new key, Tenant should contact Howard Hughes Management Services Company.

The announcement came as a shock to employees, who were apparently given n o advance warning from management. Additionally, several entertainment acts were booked to perform at the British-themed pub over St. Patrick's Day Weekend (indeed, less than 12 hours before the announcement, the Baker St. official Facebook page posted events as usual) who have scrambled to verify they won't be performing.

Woodlands Online has reached out to the landlord for additional information, with no replies yet. We will keep you updated on this story.
