WEATHER ALERT: Stormy day ahead

A heads up that any minute now a series of thunderstorms will hit pretty much everybody in The Woodlands area. These storms, lasting on and off all day and evening, are projected to dump about a h alf-inch of rain total by midnight.
With the skies clouded over at 100 percent and winds out of the east maintaining at around 10 mph, travel conditions will be iffy with slick roads and hidden potholes. Exercise caution while driving.
Overnight, clouds will remain but storms should dissipate, leading to a relatively sunny Friday.
