It's so Hot.. You Could Make Tea Outside!

This is time of year when people try to fry an egg on the sidewalk. When the Texas heat almost feels like a dang sauna. Ya, this time of the year calls for a big ol' jar of good-for-you sun tea, steeped slow under that big Texas sky. Warming up your tea just like that kettle inside. As you know if you are a Texan we like our sugar with a little tea. Although we love our roots, we also love our gut, and choosing things that are good for us. So we say get some local honey and use that instead of sugar. If you want it a tad more sweet just stir your finger in a lil, honey!
Here's how Bliss makes it:
1. Grab your glass jar (quart or bigger'll do).
2. Drop in 1–2 tablespoons of Roots Apothecary loose leaf tea. bliss picks: Immune Boost, Inflammation, Anxiety, or Energy
3. Optional: Add in Honey and a few rosehips in for a hint of tart sweetness and a lil' skin support
4. Fill with water and set it out in the sun for 2–6 hours.
5. Strain, chill, and sip slow.
Roots Apothecary Tea blends are full of herbs that help your body regulate stress, fight off sickness, and focus without the jitters. We serve 'em right in our post-float lounge 'cause they're that good. Recently we've been serving 'em on ice after it bakes in the Texas heat.
Our Options:
- Immune Boost – for keeping the crud away
- Inflammation Support – if your joints are talkin'
- Anxiety Blend – when your brain won't hush
- Energy Blend – better than your third coffee
Come grab ya supplies, stop by if you live by The Woodlands, TX. If your a kinfolk that lives a little futher, we got a online shop. School may be back in session but it's still hot enough for the sun to make your tea.
