Girls Academy & GA2 - October Update
🗓️ October Recap: Outstanding October for the GA & GA2 Program.
With over 60 games played across our Girls Academy and GA2 programs, our teams delivered another month of standout performances. From clutch goals to gritty defensive battles, October showcased the strength and depth of our players across every level. Here’s your full recap of the action that kept the momentum rolling all month long.
⚽ 12G GA UNBEATEN STREAK CONTINUES
The 12G GA squad continues to dominate, extending their unbeaten run with 11 consecutive shutouts. Their defensive discipline and relentless energy have been unmatched, proving why they remain one of the toughest teams in their bracket. Total focus and teamwork and not a single goal conceded.
⚽ GA2 NORTH TEAMS IN THE HUNT
Our 2012, 2011 and 2010 GA2 North squads are turning heads as they battle for the top spot in their conference. With upcoming matchups against Houston Surf on the horizon (11/8), these games could be season-defining moments as the teams continue to compete for the top of the table.
⚽ GA2 SOUTH SWEEP SA CITY
Total domination from GA2 South, all six teams took home wins against SA City! A massive weekend that showcased the program’s strength, depth and consistency across each age group. The first sweep of the season for either GA2 Program.
“It’s been an outstanding start for our GA2 North teams,” said GA2 North Director Benn Fernie. “The players have really embraced the opportunity of playing in a new league, showing real commitment to developing their style of play, and that’s translating into consistent performances on the field. It’s rewarding to see their hard work paying off and to know we’re competing at such a strong level across multiple age groups. Every week they’re pushing themselves, and it’s great to see that reflected in the results.”
“It was a fantastic weekend for our GA2 South program,” said GA2 South Director Jake Magnus. “To see all six teams earn wins against SA City is a great reflection of the progress being made across the age groups. The players competed with intensity and demonstrated the depth and cohesion we’re building within the program. It's also great to see that the GA2 07/08 S are top of the conference as we enter November! ”
Congratulations to all Girls Academy & GA2 players, coaches, and families for their continued commitment and hard work. The performances on the field reflect the players’ dedication, the coaches’ guidance, and the parents’ constant support.
