THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS ---- Mindy Harmon, CPP of Mindy Harmon Photography was named a Bronze Medalist in the Photographer of the Year category during Professional Photographers of America’s International Photographic Competition. She was honored at PPA’s annual convention, Imaging USA, this past week in Atlanta, Ga.

Harmon was named a Bronze Medalist by earning a merit—a mark of quality and honor—for each of the four images included in her entry case to the International Photographic Competition. This is the most prestigious competition of its kind, where images are judged based on high standards of artistic excellence. A panel of 43 eminent jurors from across the United States selected the top photographs from nearly 5,000 total submitted entries at Gwinnett Technical College in Georgia.

Harmon is a PPA Certified Professional Photographer and owns a boutique portrait studio located at 25164 Grogans Park Drive off of Grogan’s Mill/Sawdust Road in The Woodlands.

“These photographers have reached a prestigious achievement,” states Dennis Craft, PPA’s Photographic Exhibition Committee Chairman. “The consistent quality required to earn the title of Bronze Medalist in one of the world’s most celebrated photography competitions certainly bodes well for their clients, too!”

Established in 1869, PPA is an international non-profit association for professional photographers. PPA exists to assist its 25,000 members with unparalleled protection, education and resources to ensure their continued success in the photographic industry.
