THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- When the premier provider of engaging, educational enrichment programs for children in The Woodlands throws a party, it’s fun for the whole family.

Kidville is celebrating their first anniversary in The Woodlands with a family friendly gala event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Aug. 22.

“It’s hard to believe our first year went by so quickly,” said owner Karen Roberts. “We’re celebrating our first anniversary with a party for kids and parents alike.”

The celebration includes free play and activities in the spacious 1,500-square-foot gym, a live performance by the interactive Rockin’ Railroad Band, refreshments of pizza and cake and goodie bags for every family. Attendees get special discounts from the Kidville Boutique and will have a chance at special drawings for free membership upgrades valued at $395.

“We have a wide range of activities for kids up to 7 years of age and their parents,” said Roberts. “It’s going to be fun event for everyone.”

Creating a unique environment that mixes fun and learning is a trademark of Kidville. The facility offers creative and interactive classes for babies, toddlers and young children in a range of themes. Age appropriate classes include music, dance, gym, art enrichment and much more.

Roberts, who has a Bachelors Degree in theatre and a Masters Degree in education is well suited to the implementation of programs that teach as well as engage. Programs for children under 3 are geared to a child and parent experience. Those over 3 are encouraged to participate independently.

Anna Neidig of The Woodlands said her 3-year-old was shy and reluctant to participate at other youth facilities, but is more active and involved at Kidville.

“He loves coming here,” she said. “The staff is exceptionally talented, resourceful and creative. They treat the children with respect and the kids respond.”

Neidig said she discovered Kidville several months ago and that her son now looks forward to his sessions.

“He loves it and I love that he loves it,” she said.

Kidville is not a daycare. It is a youth-oriented, 4,500-square-foot facility that offers a variety of developmental experiences – typically ranging from 45 minutes to one hour and an alternative preschool for 2 and 3 year olds. It’s also a popular venue for unique and creative birthday parties and special events. During the summer months, Kidville offers camp programs that offer extended activities.

“Kidville is a unique facility so we encourage parent to come by for a tour anytime,” said Roberts. “We recommend you bring your child along to see what the Kidville experience is all about.”

Admission to the special anniversary party is $10 per child and $5 per adult for members and $12 per child and $7 per adult for non-members. Reservations are required. For more information on Kidville visit the link below.
