THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Operation Pets Alive is looking for a few good homes for the holidays – and forever. Volunteers from the organization will be at The Woodlands Mall on weekends beginning Friday, November 29 with a variety of homeless cats and dogs that are available for adoption for qualified applicants. As a special thank you, Mi Cocina restaurant will give a $50 restaurant gift card to every person who adopts an animal during the holiday season.

The schedule for holiday adoptions is:

Friday, November 29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturdays, November 30, December 7, 14, 21 and 28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sundays, December 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 from 12 to 5 p.m.

The Operation Pets Alive adoption booth will be in the outside courtyard near Barnes & Noble.

Founded in 2011, Operation Pets Alive! is a local, nonprofit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to working with people and government to provide life-saving, no-kill programs through innovative programs that raise awareness, reduce the number of dogs and cats that enter shelters and increase the number of pets that leave shelters alive. The fees to adopt an animal are $150 for dogs and $75 for cats.
