UIL Realignment 2018

THE WOODLANDS, Texas—Every two years the University Interscholastic League (UIL) re-classifies all schools into conferences and districts. 2018-2020 will see a very competitive district with four south Montgomery county teams joining five Klein schools.

The new District 15-6A will include:

Conroe

Oak Ridge

The Woodlands

College Park

Klein

Klein Cain

Klein Collins

Klein Forest

Klein Oak

All sports will compete in the new District 15-6A starting with next fall’s football season which will bring along some great storylines. How will The Woodlands fair without Mark Schmid as a Highlander coach for the first year in three decades? Will Klein Collins take over as the favorite after two straight playoff runs with their star running back and Oklahoma commit Isaiah Spiller?

Expect some good games for the next two years as District 15-6A stretches down I-45.
