THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Enjoy the emotional depth and power of Matthew Kent's piano recital in the unique museum setting at Glade Arts Foundation. Light brunch will be served along with two complementary drinks of your choice from the bar.

Make this Mother's Day a special celebration brunch with the world renowned pianist Matthew Kent!

A native Texan, Matthew Kent born into a family of musicians, began to show interest in music from early age. By age twelve, Matthew competed in the Young Keyboard Artists Competition in Grand Rapids, Michigan, which subsequently lead to a televised performance. Matthew continued to win top awards at Pre-College division at the Kingsville International Competition, Victoria Symphony International Competition and a Silver Medal at the Neda Wideman Competition.

Matthew Kent has studied with John Paul at Sam Houston State University and with Abbey Simon and Ruth Tomfohrde at University of Houston Moores School of Music.

Matthew Kent currently performs concerto repertoire across the United States, Europe and Asia.
