THE WOODLANDS, TX -- GLADE ARTS FOUNDATION is pleased to announce the Summer 2019 Camp Glade; a diverse program of Fine Arts experiences for children, age 7 – 14, provided at Glade Arts Foundation in The Woodlands.

This summer, for four weeks in June and three weeks in July, kids can find their passion in studio art featuring a wide variety of categories such as Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Mixed Media, and Sculpture.

Glade Camp is also introducing a Mural Painting class, which will meet for two consecutive weeks in July, under the direction of Houston-based muralists from KP and Corie Art, to create a mural to be installed at The Woodlands Children’s Museum.

The fourth week of June focuses on jazz improvisation in the mornings and jazz ensemble in the afternoons, for young musicians in the seventh through twelfth grades. This opportunity is under the direction of Darryl Bayer, Artistic Director of The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra. Students are encouraged to sign up for both morning and afternoon sessions for the greatest benefit to their musical understanding and performance.

Classes are offered in two age groups, ages 7-10 and 11-14 during mornings and afternoons to fit the schedules of busy families. The cost of each class is $195 which includes all materials.
