THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Four university athletic directors from around the country will be part of a panel discussion on the college recruiting process hosted by The John Cooper School’s Dragon Booster Club at 6 p.m., Monday, September 23 at the school’s Glenn Performing Arts Center.

“The goal of the evening is to sort out the truths and myths of college athletics, specifically recruiting, for families and their athletes who are considering pursuing athletics at the university level,” said Cooper Athletic Director John Hoye. “This is an opportunity for our community to learn about the college athletic process from the university’s perspective.”

The panel discussion, hosted by VYPE Media Director of Content Matt Malatesta, will be followed by questions from the audience.

“The universities represented–Colorado University, Clemson University, Rice University, and St. Thomas University–provide a range of geographic locations and division levels to offer different perspectives on recruiting,” Hoye said.

The event is free of charge and open to the public. To attend, sign up online at https://www.johncooper.org/college-recruting-evening-rsvp, or call 281-367-0900, ext. 2472.
