Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office holds Employee Promotion and Awards Ceremony

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- On October 17, 2019, in front of a packed room of family, friends and colleagues, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office celebrated promotions and accomplishments at its annual awards ceremony held at the Lone Star Convention Center in Conroe, Texas. Sheriff Rand Henderson recognized 36 well-deserved promotions which took place between May 2018 and the date of the ceremony. Sheriff’s Office also recognized 71 personnel for various commendations earned since November 2018. The commendations included numerous P.A.C.T. Awards, which recognize employees for their commitment to the Sheriff's Office core values of being Professional, Accountable, Compassionate and Trusted.

There were 15 additional employees who were recognized for their dedication to the citizens of Montgomery County through their life saving actions. This special group of Sheriff's Office employees went above and beyond their duties to serve and protect the citizens of Montgomery County. One Meritorious Service award was presented for a highly credible accomplishment, whose meritorious conduct singularly deserves attention and has brought honor and recognition to the Sheriff's Office, its employees, and the law enforcement profession. The ceremony concluded as two Combat Cross medals were awarded to Deputies who protected their supervisor from imminent threat of harm while in the line of duty.
