Montgomery County Sheriff Arrest One for Sexual Assault

NEW CANEY, TX -- On November 24, 2020, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a sexual assault that occurred at the Texaco Gas Station located at 20444 Loop 494 New Caney, TX. The victim of the sexual assault advised that while putting air in her tire, she was attacked from behind by an unknown white male suspect. The victim stated the suspect forcefully removed her clothing, before assaulting her. Detectives, with the help of patrol, identified the suspect as Mitchell Lee Knight, a 39-year-old white male. A warrant was issued for Mitchell and he was arrested on December 10, 2020, for Sexual Assault. It is believed Mitchell is involved in similar cases.
