Texas Country Music Association’s Female Artist of the Year to perform at Dosey Doe’s Breakfast, BBQ & Whiskey Bar on Friday, February 11

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Don’t miss your chance to hear Texas Country Music Association’s Female Artist of the Year when she brings her live music to The Woodlands. Morgan Ashley will take the stage at Dosey Doe’s Breakfast, BBQ & Whiskey Bar, located at 2626 Research Forest Drive in The Woodlands, at 8pm on Friday, February 11.

2021 was a great year for Morgan. Prior to taking home the top award at the TCMA’s, the Texas Regional Radio Awards recognized her as its New Female Vocalist of the Year; and her hit song, “Back to Austin,” was named in the Top 100 Texas country songs of 2021.

“I could not have asked for a better year,” said the 25-year-old soulful country singer from College Station who is excited to be heading back to one of her favorite listening rooms.
“I love playing at Dosey Doe’s Whiskey Bar, and I am really excited to perform my new song, ‘Girl FYI.’ I wrote it after I found out a guy that I had been dating for about a year was seeing someone else, too. After I ended the relationship, I contacted the other girl and basically said, ‘Hey, girl, FYI – he was with me last night and said he loved me, so something’s not right here.’”

“Girl FYI” is currently climbing the Texas country music charts. Morgan hopes it will empower people and be an anthem they can relate to or just sing at the top of their lungs and feel inspired.
