THE WOODLANDS, TX – Already today we’re enjoying some slightly cooler weather with some residual cloud cover from the weekend’s rains. ‘Twas but a respite, as the precipitation will make an encore appearance soon enough. But for the rest of the day, enjoy partly cloudy skies with a high only in the upper 80s. We’ll have a pressure drop throughout the day that will keep the cloud cover as we roll into a nighttime low of 72.

A wet first part of the week will segue to cooler, sunnier days

Here’s hoping you enjoyed the rainless day on Monday, because Tuesday is a whole different story. The chances of thunderstorms will increase significantly as the sun rises, and the storms will keep the high in the lower 80s and the low that night in the upper 60s. There might be a brief lull in the thunder and lightning in the evening, but it looks like Wednesday will get wet no matter where and when you are. The high will blissfully hover around 80, and the low will get all the way down to 60.

We may fall asleep to the sound of thunder and rain on Wednesday night, but we’ll wake up Thursday morning to drier climes. The storms will have blown themselves through, and we can expect sunny skies for the next two days at least, with no rains and little winds, and highs in the 80s and lows in the 60s. So, our word of advice to you for this week is, don’t get your car washed until Thursday at the earliest.

Stay tuned on Friday as we bring you Woodlands Weekend Weather.
