CONROE, TX -- Conroe ISD is requesting the participation of students, parents, business owners, community members, and employees for a Bond Planning Committee in anticipation of a bond on the November 7, 2023, ballot. The District is experiencing unprecedented growth and seeks the guidance of all stakeholders in assessing capacity and facility needs.

As the 9th largest district in Texas and the 60th largest in the U.S., Conroe ISD serves approximately 71,000 students across 67 campuses and is one of the fastest growing districts in the State with current enrollment growth exceeding 3,000 students per year, double the former decade-long trend of 1,500 students a year. A 2022 demographic study by PASA, Population and Survey Analysts, projects that Conroe ISD will approach or exceed 100,000 students in 10 years. The demographic study can be viewed on the District’s demographics webpage.

Bond Planning Committee meetings are scheduled to begin in February of 2023. Participants are asked to commit to attending all meetings so all voices and perspectives are heard from consistently. Anyone interested in participating can complete the interest form on the 2023 Bond Planning Committee webpage. Members will be notified at the end of January.
