Coach Nicole Hedden: We had a great weekend at the Fort Bend Christian Academy Invitational. Our base-running was on fire! Madison Roger had a three-run home run against Fort Bend Christian Academy. Grace Minarovic had a two-run home run against Incarnate Word Academy. Our bats were hot this weekend. We made some great plays defensively but need to work on trusting each other and communicating on defense. These young ladies are getting better each game. Our last game was a tough loss, but we now know what to work on to improve.

I am looking forward to a big week ahead– we have a game vs. St. John XXIII on Monday and getting back to work on Tuesday and Wednesday at practice before our next Round Robin that St. Johns is hosting on Thursday and Friday.
