HS Softball: Conroe Rallies to Defeat The Woodlands at Home

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Conroe Lady Tigers traveled to The Woodlands High School to take on the Lady Highlanders in their first district game of the season.

In the top of the second, the Lady Tigers struck first with a run in which gave them the 1-0 lead. The Woodlands quickly shut them down the rest of the inning as well as in the top of the third. The Lady Highlanders would get a run in at the bottom of the third which tied up the game, 1-1.

The momentum would be short lived in the fourth inning as the Lady Tigers would go on a rally and chalk up four more runs giving them the lead, 5-1. Although The Woodlands would try to chip away at the lead in the bottom of the fifth, it wasn’t enough.

The Lady Tigers would take the win over The Woodlands at home 5-3.

The Woodlands is set to face Grand Oaks next week while Conroe takes on Oak Ridge at home.
