THE WOODLANDS, TX - New Danville, an organization founded in 2005 that serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, recently held its annual Spring Thing fundraising luncheon. Luminaries galore showed up to the event to show their support.

'Thanks to the $350,000 commitment by the Woodforest Charitable Foundation toward our Growing…for Living campaign in support of Vision 2025, other organizations have taken notice and are opening up to discuss our plans for the future and how they might be able to help,' said Eva Aguirre, president and CEO of New Danville.

2022 Volunteer of the Year Brady Hull suggested during his speech at the event that a tour of the facilities could help someone really understand what happens at New Danville, and encouraged interested parties to contact New Danville's development director, Dion McInnis, at 936-253-5757 or Dion.McInnis@NewDanville.org.

'Thank you, again, for making this, our premier fundraising event, the tremendous success that it was,' said Aguirre. 'Please join me, too, in thanking our co-chairs for the event – Odette D’Agostino, Karyn Grace and Kelly Hull – for their tireless efforts.'

Sponsors of the event included Tricia & Jack Futcher, Richie Ray, Waste Connections, Memorial Hermann - The Woodlands Hospital, Bayway Cadillac of The Woodlands, The Howard Hughes Corporation, and many more.
