Sips, Suds, & Savor hit The Woodlands Waterway Marriott last weekend

THE WOODLANDS, TX – As part of the multi-day celebration that comprised Wine & Food Week, last Friday Food and Vine Time Productions presented a special, fun, frolicking, social, scintillating networking event: Sips, Suds, & Savor.

Woodlands Online was present in person to check out the frivolity and fun. Throughout the giant ballroom, more than a hundred people sampled wines from around the world as well as local foods, got serenaded, bid on instant artwork, and more.

This casual and fun Friday night out with great grub, live music, wine, beer, craft spirits, allowed participants to discover their inner artists with this year’s theme of Wine + Food = Art. Thevent was billed as the perfect opportunity for a date night, friends group gathering, or to come meet a new friend in an all-inclusive immersive experience!

Attendees were invited to wear their most artistic clothing, with a prize and bragging rights going to the most artistic. Artistic duo Paint Jam provided an electrifying performance art show in which paintings were spun together in minutes. The father-son speed-painting duo Dan and Harvey Dunn auctioned off paintings afterward.

Live music was provided by Shang & Byron’s 2 Man Band as people enjoyed the wine pull sponsored by The Woodlands Arts Council. Multiple snack stations loaded up with the best hors d'oeuvres were handing out samples all evening to help cleanse the palates of the wine drinkers.
