WILLIS, TX – Not only did Willis host the state qualifier for the Lineman Challenge, but they ended up coming in first place. This would give them the opportunity to show off their strength and skills at the state level.

In a district full of possible prospects in the Texas High School football circuit, Willis has made a name for themselves this off-season. All though they have a huge name like DJ Lagway, Willis also has a line of tough and skilled lineman that are there to keep the QB safe.

Located in Abilene, Texas, the state lineman challenge took place over the weekend at Hardin-Simmons University. With events like the Worm Carry, Bench Press and Power Drive to name a few, Willis took all of these events to the next level to push them into first place.

The Tug-of-War would be the final event of the day and with that, Willis would take home the ultimate prize, '2023 6A State Lineman Challenge Champions'.

Woodlands Online looks forward to their return and a possible recap of their day at the 2023 Lineman Challenge.
