MCTX Sheriff Arrests Suspects Burglarizing Vehicles in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On January 25, 2024, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office assigned to The Woodlands District 6 Patrol Division were dispatched to the 4000 block of Technology Forest Blvd in The Woodlands, Texas, in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. Deputies arrived at the location and learned that the victim's wallet containing his identification and credit cards was stolen from the vehicle. While conducting their investigation, Deputies received a notification that two suspects were using the victim's credit cards at a nearby Walmart. Deputies converged to the area and located two suspects matching the description attempting to leave the Walmart parking lot.

Deputies detained both suspects, identified as 22-year-old Robert Myers and 23-year-old Kayla Sutton, who were found to be in possession of the victim's credit cards. Both suspects were placed in custody and charged with Burglary of a Motor Vehicle and Credit Card Abuse against the elderly, where they were transported and are currently being held at the Montgomery County Jail. Myers was found to have an active Pardons and Parole warrant and received an additional charge of Failure to Identify as a Fugitive.
