Memorial Hermann The Woodlands holds Life Flight helipad blessing for National Trauma Survivors Day

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The early morning sun shone down on the rooftop of Memorial Herman The Woodlands Medical Center as dozens of staff, members of the media, and trauma survivors gathered on the Life Flight helipad for a special blessing on this year's National Trauma Survivors Day.

This celebration, led locally by Melanie Bradshaw, seeks to draw inspiration from and provide support to survivors of traumatic injuries and their caregivers, opening the road to their recovery from trauma. The blessing was the first of two major events this day; the second being a reunion of trauma survivors who have been cared for by staff at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands.
