THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Montgomery County Judge Mark Keough today announced that his wife, Kim Keough, had been treated by The Woodlands Fire Department and the Montgomery County Hospital District after apparently falling and injuring herself. She is currently awaiting surgery at an unnamed local hospital.

In his statement on his official social media, Keough said:

This morning between appointments, I went home and found my wife, Kim, lying on the floor. I immediately rushed to her side and realized she was in a great deal of pain. I called 911, and the incredible first responders from The Woodlands Fire Department and Montgomery County Hospital District arrived quickly and took excellent care of her.

We are now at the hospital and it appears she has injured her hip, which will require surgery later today. Please keep Kim in your thoughts and prayers as she undergoes surgery and begins her recovery. She’s such a trooper, and I have no doubt that with all of our prayers and support she’ll make a full and speedy recovery.

I can’t thank the men and women of The Woodlands Fire Department and Montgomery County Hospital District enough for their help this morning and the great care they provided to Kim.

Woodlands Online sends its best wishes to the Keough family.
