Ka-Chow! Superheroes and CARS Characters Roll into The Woodlands Children's Museum

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Capes on, engines revved, and cameras ready! Families are invited to The Woodlands Children’s Museum to experience an unforgettable day of superhero fun and high-octane excitement at Superhero Day with CARS, presented by The Woodlands Young Learners Academy. The event will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Young heroes are encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero and prepare for a day filled with imagination, creativity, and larger-than-life adventures. Children can also design their very own superhero mask before meeting some of their favorite heroes on stage for photo opportunities throughout the day.

Outside, the excitement continues as families enjoy incredible replicas of beloved CARS movie characters, including Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, Doc Hudson, Sheriff, and Tippy the Tractor. These fan-favorite vehicles provide the perfect backdrop for memorable family photos and plenty of "Ka-Chow!" moments.

“We’re excited to bring these larger-than-life experiences to our community and enjoy watching children become their own superheroes,” stated Jennifer Kraus, the museum’s Interim Executive Director. “There's nothing quite like seeing a child's face light up when they meet their favorite superhero or come face-to-face with Lightning McQueen. We invite families to grab their capes, strike their best superhero pose, and join us for an action-packed day at the museum!"

When it's time to cool down, guests can purchase a refreshing treat from Tikiz Shaved Ice & Ice Cream, available throughout the event in the outdoor activity area.

The Woodlands Children's Museum is grateful to The Woodlands Young Learners Academy for supporting this event and helping to bring meaningful family experiences to our community.

Purchasing tickets in advance is strongly recommended for this popular event. A limited number of tickets will be available on-site, if space allows. Admission for Superhero Day with CARS is $15 for children and $10 for adults. Advance tickets are available at www.woodlandschildrensmuseum.org. Event will take place rain or shine.

The Woodlands Children's Museum is located in the Panther Creek Village Center, 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280, The Woodlands, Texas 77381. Summer hours are Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The museum is closed Sundays and Mondays.
