Over 3,500 Players Started the Spring Season.

This past Saturday marked an exciting start to the 2026 Spring Recreational Program, proudly partnered with TDECU, as more than 3,500 players took to the fields for the first weekend of play.
Spread across 10 campuses throughout the Greater Houston area, the program brought together families, players, and volunteers for a season filled with energy, teamwork, and passion for the game. With 425 teams, over 1,800 matches scheduled, and 350 volunteer coaches, the fields will be alive every weekend with excitement and community spirit.

Each week, more than 12,000 spectators will cheer from the sidelines across our recreational sites in Clear Lake, Friendswood, Humble, Kingwood, League City, Sienna, Tomball, The Woodlands, and Woodforest.

This spring season will be another fantastic opportunity for returning and new players at HTX to have fun, develop their skills and enjoy their love for the sport.

In Humble, Rodrigo Marron has done an excellent job leading the Recreational Program, fostering an environment where players, parents, coaches, and volunteers come together with passion, energy, and commitment. Their collective efforts ensure that players not only enjoy the game, but also continue to grow both on and off the field.”

“Partnering with TDECU, Houston’s largest credit union, is an exciting step forward for our club and our members,” said Simon Boddison, Director of Soccer Operations. “TDECU recognizes the transformative impact of youth sports from building stronger communities to opening doors for young talent.
