HTX Soccer Girls Academy Shines at the 2026 Champions Cup Finals

This year’s 2026 Champions Cup Finals was another huge success for the Girls Academy as teams competed this week at the IMG Academy complex in Bradenton, Florida from March 5-10. The event featured teams from the top 16 teams from Champions Cup group play. Additionally, the showcase portion of the event featured U14-U19 teams who played against the top wildcard teams from other conferences.

The format is the single biggest motivation for HTX‘s GA Program, it’s what makes us unique," said Andrew Squire, Girls Director. "We are deeply invested as a program to help each team succeed. The excitement and energy around each game makes this event the best youth soccer tournament in the country. Thank you to the players & parents for their commitment and contribution to this success. Thank you to the 230+ college coaches & US scouts in attendance and came to watch us play.”

I’m incredibly proud of how our teams performed,” said Randy Evans, Technical Director. “From our U13s reaching the final in their first ever Champions Cup to our U19s finishing their final Champions Cup appearance with a 3–1 win over New York Soccer Club, every team competed with tremendous passion and skill. Congratulations to our players and staff on an impressive 6th place finish in the overall club national standings, and a special thank you to our parents for their continued support.”
