THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Legacy’s varsity football team lost 47-12 Friday night at Evadale High School. Despite the loss, the Lions are keeping their heads up and moving forward.

Junior Zack Patton and senior Ben Bargainer both ran the ball in during the first half of the game, making the score at halftime 34-12. Ryan May, who plays defensive end and right tackle, has high expectations for the team.

“We have to erase mistakes like fumbles and INTs,” says May. “I’m looking forward to the improvement and the potential this team has. I still believe this will be a good year. And so does the team!”

Fans are eager to see the team play and watch the development that each game will bring. Amber Condley, who has experience managing and assisting the athletic director, is excited for the progress that the team is making.

“They look better than they ever have before,” says Condley. “I think there are a lot of good things in store for them this year.”

Legacy’s next football game is against Fellowship Academy, and starts at 7:30pm. Come watch the Lions at the first home-field game of the year, September 11th.
