Legacy Preparatory Academy senior heading to college football

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy senior Kyran Miseldine recently signed a letter of intent to play football with Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.

Miseldine will graduate from Legacy Prep on May 19, 2017. He was recruited to play on the offensive line for the Southwestern Pirates. Legacy Prep is a University-Model School (UMS) comprised of grades pre-kindergarten through 12 th . The school prepares students to be successful in college and life by providing a rigorous academic background that is rich in opportunities. Legacy Prep is a Christ-centered school that creates college-worthy, character witnesses for Christ.

Miseldine has attended Legacy Prep for three years and played football all three years. He played on both the offensive and defensive lines. The Legacy Lions were the 2016 TAPPS 2A area champions.

“I loved playing for such a great team. I have enjoyed the experience of being a Legacy Prep Lion and look forward to being a Southwestern Pirate. I will never forget where I came from and how much we worked as a team to get into the playoffs. I am excited for the future and what God has planned for me,” stated Kyran Miseldine.

Legacy Prep Head Athletic Director Nash Murray commented, “I feel privileged and blessed to you have coached such a great young man. I can't wait to see all the that Lord has in store for Kyran at Southwestern.” David and Heather Miseldine, Kyran’s parents, are excited to see where this passion takes him on the field and in life. According to Heather Miseldine, “We are very proud of Kyran. He has been focused on this goal and his hard work and tenacity have paid off in many ways.”
