THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Woodlands Children’s Museum is preparing the ultimate workshop in anticipation of its ultimate Halloween bash, the SpookTacular.

There are two sessions for the SpookTacular Workshop – from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30 at the museum, which is located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280. The cost to attend is $44 for non-members and $24 for members.

“Halloween is a perfect time to explore other cultures and fall celebrations,” Angela Colton, executive director of the museum, said. “We will talk about Celtic influences on the holiday and the festivities associated with Dia de Los Muertos.”

Children will create artistic pieces – as well as mini jack-o’-lanterns and a unique carrier for treats.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum has a full calendar of creative workshops and exciting activities planned throughout the year. Daily Admission is $5 per person 2 years and older. Admission is free for children under 2 and museum members. To learn more, visit woodlandschildrensmuseum.org or call 281-465-0955.
