THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Woodlands Children's Museum is now enrolling children for its 2026 Fall Workshop series, featuring exciting new classes and engaging educational experiences designed to inspire young learners ages 2–9.

New this year, the museum is partnering with On Pointe Academy, a local ballet school founded by Woodlands native and former Houston Ballet dancer Madison Morris, MS, RDN. Together, they will offer Ballet Buddies, a parent-child class for children ages 2–3 that introduces dance through ballet-inspired music and movement. Children ages 4–5 can enroll in Creative Movement, blending Brain Compatible Dance Education with ballet fundamentals.

The museum is also introducing a PreK readiness program for 3-year-olds. Designed as a parent-child experience, this unique program gives families the opportunity to learn and play together while building confidence, listening skills, socialization, and playful transitions. Manipulatives, literary supports, and process art are inspired by a Reggio Emilia philosophy.

"Children learn best when they are engaged, encouraged, and having fun," stated Jennifer Kraus, Interim Executive Director of The Woodlands Children's Museum. "Our workshops provide opportunities for young learners to explore their interests, develop friendships, and discover new skills in a nurturing environment."

Workshops provide flexible enrichment opportunities for homeschool families and children looking to extend learning beyond the traditional classroom.

Fall Workshops begin August 31 through November 20.

  • Ballet Buddies by On Pointe Academy (ages 2-3 with adult)
