THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- A Big Red Valentine’s Day Party is coming to The Woodlands Children’s Museum, where children will have a chance to meet a BIG RED DOG named CLIFFORD!

Families can join the fun Feb. 14-16

Children and their families are invited to wear red to this special Clifford-themed party, which will take place Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 14-16, at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280, The Woodlands, Texas 77381.

During the celebration, visitors can play Big Red Bingo, collaborate on a special Valentine’s art creation—which will be delivered to area hospitals—and enjoy time with Clifford The Big Red Dog?, himself, who will be making surprise visits at the museum.

Also scheduled is a Shadow Puppet Theatre reading of Clifford the Big Red Dog at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, and a presentation of Clifford’s Valentine’s Day at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, during Storybook Theatre.

“Valentine’s Day is a paws-itively perfect time to celebrate a Big Red Dog named Clifford!” said Angela Colton, executive director of the museum. “Children and their families are invited to meet this beloved literary character and enjoy the many facets of our Adventures with Clifford The Big Red Dog exhibit.”

The Adventures with Clifford The Big Red Dog exhibit opened at the museum Jan. 18 and will be in place through Sunday, May 12.

Inspired by Scholastic Entertainment’s TV show, Clifford The Big Red Dog® on PBS KIDS®, the Adventures with Clifford The Big Red Dog exhibit offers numerous immersive “paws-on” adventures that reinforce “Clifford’s Big Ideas” – 10 simple tangible life lessons designed to help young children navigate their world. They are: Share, Play Fair, Have Respect, Work Together, Be Responsible, Be Truthful, Be Kind, Believe in Yourself, Be a Good Friend and Help Others.

Children can visit a colossal 9-foot-tall Clifford with a tail to slide down, just like Emily Elizabeth does on the television show. Little visitors also can help fill Clifford’s big bowl with bones using a conveyor belt and find “bone”-ified treasures at T-Bone’s Beach.
