Missing person found deceased in Conroe

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- On Tuesday morning a Texas EquuSearch volunteer called the Conroe Police Department to report that the body of missing person, Greg Broussard, had possibly been located in a wooded area near Conroe Park Dr., in Conroe, Texas. Greg, who is a long time employee of Buckalew Chevrolet, had been missing since June 6th, 2019 when he failed to show up to work which concerned family and friends. A missing person report was made which started a police investigation in Harris County where is resided.

Investigators with the Conroe Police Department arrived and started an investigation. Evidence recovered at the scene has tentatively identified the deceased as Greg Broussard. The evidence also suggested that Broussard died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Judge Wayne Mack responded to the scene and ordered an inquest. Forensic evidence will be used to help make a positive identification and exact cause of death. The circumstances surrounding the death of Greg Broussard are currently being investigated by the Conroe Police Department and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
