Water line hit on Kuykendahl and Lake Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- UPDATE 12/14 11:35am SJRA staff have confirmed that a boring contractor hit a marked water line while boring near the southeast corner of Kuykendahl and Lake Woodlands.

The line is isolated and Woodlands Water states there is no reduction of service or water pressure.

The leak is small in nature but visible to bypassers. At this time we do not anticipate any lane closures for repair.


12/14 10:49am potential water line disruption in The Woodlands: a water leak has been reported on the southeast corner at Kuykendahl and Lake Woodlands in the grassy area along the road. Our contractor has been mobilized to repair the leak.

The leak is small in nature but visible to bypassers. At this time we do not anticipate any lane closures for repair. We will confirm once the Contractor is on site.

Woodlands Water is also on site assisting with determination if anyone will have reduced pressure or reduction of service.
